Restaurants

Pizza

Bros

Pizza Bros is some of the best New York style pizza. Try their specialty pies and killer meatballs. Great for a late-night bite as they serve pizza by the slice and there are across the street from our Northshore Walkabout!

Aretha Frankensteins

It’s a hole in the wall with limited seats. They have fantastic pancakes! Go early and expect to wait there is typically a long wait if you don’t time it right. Do NOT get the shrimp and grits. Trust me, just don’t!

Cherry Street Brewing

Cherry Street is a a great craft beer brewery that’s from the Atlanta area. I’m not a beer drinker, but my hubby is and he loves this place. They even have a following that comes from Atlanta to support their new location.

Sluggos North

We are not a vegan family, but Sluggos is a fan favorite. I love the sweet potato enchiladas and my meat-eating hubby is in love with the chili.

Attractions

Coolidge

Park

We love Coolidge Park! The park is right off the Tennessee river, there is a carousel and it’s surrounded by restaurants, a local ice cream shop, and cool shops to pick up some souvenirs. Did I mention it’s also walking distance from the house?!

Creative Discovery Museum

Unearth the curiosities of the world through play, immersive exhibits, and hands-on activities in the heart of Chattanooga. A fantastic interactive experience for the younger folks in the group.
